Adult Literacy Tutor

One-on-one tutoring with an adult learner to support them to gain skills in reading and writing. Commit to weekly meetings with a learner and complete a five-hour tutor training workshop.

Children’s Homework Helper

Assist children in grades 1-6 with specific homework assignments in the Children’s Homework Center. Commit to one weekly shift during homework center hours, Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.

Tech Volunteer

Provide assistance to the public with logging on to the computers, MS Office, printing, resume formatting, internet searching, online job applications, creating free email accounts, and uploading attachments. Troubleshoot minor computer, printing, and scanning issues.

Teen General Help/Teen Program Help

Assist staff with program supplies, set up and take down of programs, help patrons with crafts and activities, count attendance at programs, cleaning, organizing, and special projects.

Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

Make collection wish lists, market the library and plan fun and exciting programs for teens. Must be able to commit to monthly meetings September to May.
