Want to focus or collaborate? We have six study rooms available for personal space and quiet study at the Orange Public Library & History Center (Main Library), and one at the El Modena Branch Library. The study rooms can accommodate one to six people (depending on room) and include power outlets and a dry erase board with markers.

  • There is no fee to a use study room.
  • A study room may be used by any person 13 years or older who owns and presents a valid Orange Public Library card in good standing.
  • Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and advance reservations are not permitted with the exception of the "Orange Park Acres Friends of the Library" and El Modena study room which may be reserved by the Adult Literacy Program tutors and students for literacy group study. 
  • Study Rooms may be used for a two-hour period. Extensions may be provided, depending on availability.
  • Check in at the Information Desk (1st floor) or the Adult Reference desk (2nd floor) to use a room at the Orange Public Library & History Center (Main Library). 
  • Check in at the One Desk to use a room at the El Modena Branch Library.
