STEP 2
Select a Career Path and Start Prerequisite Course
Students choose a major from 10 career fields and complete the two-week trial course. Students must complete the prerequisite course in two weeks or less with a score of 70% or higher.
STEP 3
Readiness Interview
Once the prerequisite course is complete, the library will contact the student to confirm program eligibility. If eligible, students will be awarded an 18 month scholarship to complete the coursework.
STEP 4
Connect with Academic Coach
The Academic Coach will help the student get started with a welcome kit and phone call, and will provide:
- Instant feedback on lessons and exams
- Online learning resources including eLibrary, calendar, gradebook, and support services
- Pace guides that help you stay on track by completing one course credit every two weeks
STEP 5
Complete Coursework
Students commit 8 to 10 hours of coursework each week, and keep in touch with their Academic Coach.
STEP 6
Graduate!
Graduates will be celebrated by the Library for their successful completion of the program. All graduates receive:
- High school diploma
- Career certificate
- Career portfolio
- Job preparation training and skills
