The artwork of local artist Marcus M. Maldonado Sr. is now on display at the El Modena Branch Library, offering the community an opportunity to experience Maldonado’s vibrant and expressive paintings.  For Maldonado, painting serves as a powerful medium for conveying personal thoughts and emotions. His artistic journey is deeply influenced by his family heritage, including his great uncle Xavier Guerrero, a pioneering figure in the early 20th century Mexican muralist movement. Through this exhibition, Maldonado aims to share his creative vision with the community, hoping his artwork inspires feelings of joy, peace, and beauty among visitors.
